September 30, 2016 – December 31, 2017, Over the past 10 years, EduNova Co-operative Ltd. has worked with Nova Scotia institutions and firms to form collaborative project teams to bid on international projects funded through the International Financial Institutions. Through this collaborative approach, EduNova has secured over $16 million in project opportunities for Nova Scotia’s education and training sector and sourced a far larger volume of opportunities on behalf of the sector.
The IFI Business Development Support project incorporates training and capacity building within the sector to prepare more firms and institutions to participate in these bids. A consultant hired through this project is working with the participants to identify project opportunities in their markets of interest (primarily East Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and South East Asia). Collectively, the participants have experience working in each of these markets and are keen to share their expertise and contacts among the group. The consultant is supporting the preparation/development of Letters of Interest, Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and full proposals when feasible.
