On December 15th, 2017, students from EduNova’s Study and Stay program celebrated the completion of their first semester in Nova Scotia—and the beginning of their first winter in Canada. The group joined EduNova staff for an evening of celebration, socializing, and ‘Nova Scotia trivia.’ For example, many of the students were surprised to learn that New Brunswick is the only province to border Nova Scotia by land (though one can take a ferry to Newfoundland and PEI). Students shared plans for the holidays, which included travels around the Maritime provinces, volunteering, and making ‘Canadian friends.’
